Bridge Coffee Roasters Cold Brew Coffee Review

As local as I can get!

The Brazil Single Origin 01 from Bridge Coffee Roasters, located in my hometown of Ystrad Mynach in the county of Caerphilly, caught my eye recently.

Local Coffee for Local People

The Brazil Single Origin 01 from bridge coffee roasters
Setup and The Taste

With 14 hour Cold Brewing Period in my Bodum Cold Brew Coffee Maker, This Brazilian number came out very smooth and very tasty with a nice hint of walnut.

Only a bit of Water was needed, and it can be drank black, which is always a winner.

Considerations

The price per 250g was £10.95, which is a bit on the expensive side. However, as of the 23rd of May, Bridge has ceased selling directly to consumers and is only now being sold wholesale.

It's a shame, as the coffee was one of the best, but not strong, coffees I've had in a long time.

The Score

I shall give Bridge Coffee Roasters Brazil Single Origin 01 4 out of 5 Beans 🫘

Hard Lines Colombia El Carmen Cold Brew Coffee Review

The Colombia El Carmen from Hard Lines, located in my home city of Cardiff, was calling out to me. Why? Cherry Bakewell favoured. I have not had a washed coffee since my first review and was very eager to taste it. Another Local Coffee for the Local people With 14 hour Cold Brewing Period in my Bodum Cold Brew Coffee Maker, The Colombia El Carmen from Hard Lines came out exactly as i expected. A very smooth, not so strong but tasted of a Cherry Bakewell. There wasn't much extra water needed to dilute it as it came out perfect, and it can be drank black, which is always a winner. The price per 250g was £11.50, which is a bit on the expensive side. However, if you want a treat and mix it up a little from the norm, this is certainly worth a try. I shall give The Colombia El Carmen from Hard Lines 4 out of 5 Beans 🫘

White Rose Coffee Roasters Brazil Bourbon Yellow Cold Brew Coffee Review

For all the different types of Coffee I have tried, The Brazil Bourbon Yellow is one of the best but, it's always hard to find. However, after having a look around various places, the award-winning White Rose Coffee Roasters actually had The Brazil Bourbon Yellow. It was like finding a Shiny in a pack of football stickers, so I had to buy it. White Rose Coffee Roasters Brazil Bourbon Yellow Coffee is Just liking finding that rare trading card! This Brazil Bourbon Yellow from White Rose Coffee Roasters didn't officially have a strength score, however it is a Medium roast (so I'm expecting around a 3) with 84 Fruity and full-bodied with grape and deep chocolates. Setup of the White Rose Coffee Roasters Brazil Bourbon Yellow Coffee I purchased the bigger 1 kg of Beans, so I could experiment with the Coffee per ration. I found 156g of coffee to 1.3 litres of water did the trick.   Then added cold tap water, ready to start my 12-hour (plus 2 hours after a stir) brew: Look at t...

Ferrari's Siena Cold Brew Coffee Review

Whenever I got to TK Maxx, I always check what they have on offer in the coffee section.  This time, I think I found a diamond in the rough when I discovered a locally based coffee From Ferrari's in Bridgend, South Wales. The one I found was Ferrari's Siena Coffee , and it was labelled as Extra strong, which got my attention. Extra Strong Diamond in the rough from Tk Maxx This is an Extra Dark Roast from Bridgend. It is full of bold and intense flavours, with notes of dark chocolate and roasted walnuts. Setup of the Ferrari's Siena Coffee I found the sweet spot of 190 grams of coffee to 1.3 litres of coffee for the new OXO cold Brew Coffee Maker .  I let it brew for around 12 hours and then letting it slowly drip. The Taste The best way I can explain the taste of the Ferrari's Siena is a classic cup of coffee.  Just as you would find in a café in a classic hot cup of coffee, this cold brew came out just like that.   That's a good thing as sometimes, all you want...
